Chennai Super Kings won over Delhi Daredevils in a thriller in the second match of IPL 8 and Albie Morkel (75 from 53) half century goes vain as CSK beat DD by 1 run. Chennai scored 150/7 in 20 overs while Delhi came very close and scored 149/9 in 20 overs. Delhi wants 6 runs from last ball and Albie Morkel hits a boundary leaving victory for Chennai Super Kings. Alnie Morkel(75 from 53 balls), Kedhar Jadhav (20 from 20 balls) and Mayank Agarwal (15 from 12 balls) are the only three batsmen to score double digits in DD innings, Yuvraj Singh scored only 9 runs. Ashish Nehra took 3, Bravo 2 and Ashwin, Miohit Sharma and Ishwar Pandey took 1 wicket each. Earlier CSK scored 150/7 in 20 overs and Dwayne Smith is the top scorer with 34 from 31 balls. Nathan Couter Nile scalped three wickets.

Gavaskar backs Dhoni comment

India’s former veteran opener Sunil Gavaskar on Thursday backs Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his "unrest" comment that got the media talking about within which the Indian cricket team in Australia, saying that the Indian captain might have chosen a wrong word to describe the situation in the ongoing test series.
