Thirimanne star in Sri Lanka win over England at Wellington

Sri Lanka beat England by 9 wickets

Lahiri Thirimanne(139 from 143 balls), Kumara Sangakkara(117 runs from 86 balls) stars in Sri Lanka win against England by 9 wickets at Wellington. Chasing 310 runs Thrimanne and Sangakkara helped Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka chased the big target in 47.2 by scoing 312/1. Moeen Ali took 1 wicket in England bowling. Earlier, England young batsmen Joe Root (121 from 108 balls) was top scorer in English score of 309/7. Sri Lanka bowler Malinga, Mathews, Lakmal Herath, Dilshan took 1 wicket each. Kumara Sangakkara was named as man of the match. Earlier, England won the toss and elected to bat first.
