Martin Guptill scored double hundred in 152 balls with 21 fours and 9 sixes. He became the first New Zealand player to achieve this mark. This is the second double century in cricket world cup 2015. Earlier, Gayle scored 215 runs against Zimbabwe and 6th double century in ODI’s. Before this Rohit Sharma (264 and 209), Virender Sehwag(219), Sachin Tendulkar(200) scored double tons in ODI’s. New Zealand scored 393/6 in 50 overs. Ross Taylor(42 runs) and Kane Williamson(33 runs) were other batsmen who scored from other side. Jerom Taylor took 3, Russell took 2 in West Indies bowling.

Kieron Pollard leaves ODI, return to West Indies board

The West Indies team has been qualified for the World cup 2019. The team has been qualified for the ICC world Cup in the qualifiers round in 2018. Though losing to Afghanistan in the final, the team has made a space in the World Cup 2019.

On this take, Kieron Pollard has shared his excitement towards the team. Pollard said that he was delighted to see that the West Indies has been qualified for the World Cup 2019.
