Martill Guptill, who scored 237 runs in 163 balls in he hits 24 4’s and 11 sixes now holds the record oh highest individual score in world cup history. Martin Guptill scored double hundred in 152 balls with 21 fours and 9 sixes. He became the first New Zealand player to achieve this mark. This is the second double century in cricket world cup 2015. Earlier, Gayle scored 215 runs against Zimbabwe and 6th double century in ODI’s. Before this Rohit Sharma (264 and 209), Virender Sehwag(219), Sachin Tendulkar(200) scored double tons in ODI’s. New Zealand scored 393/6 in 50 overs. Ross Taylor(42 runs) and Kane Williamson(33 runs) were other batsmen who scored from other side. Jerom Taylor took 3, Russell took 2 in West Indies bowling.
