West Indies lost 2 early wickets of Dwayne Smith (6 from 20 balls) caught behind to Dhoni in Shami Bowling, Marlon Samuels(2 from 7 ball) got out by super fielding by Mohit Sharma, At 35/2 in 9 overs Chris Gayle(21 from 27 balls) caught at the boundary line in Mohammad Shami bowling and Denesh Ramdin(0 from 1 ball) bowled out as golden Duck in Umesh Yadav bowling in the next ball. Janathan Carter(21 from 43) showed some temperament but caught to Shami in Ashwin bowling. Darren Sammy(26 from 45 balls) and Darren Sammy(57 from 64 balls) build the innings and helped West Indies to score 182 runs. In Indian bowling Mohammad Shami took 2 wickets, Yadav and Jadeja 2 wickets each, Mohit Sharma and Ashwin took 1 wicket each. Earlier West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. Jason Holder was the top scorer with 57 runs.
