Cricket world cup 2015, New Zealand entered semi finals by beating West Indies by 143 runs at Wellington, Chasing a big total of 394 runs West Indies manages to score 250 runs in 30.3 overs. Chris Gayle was the top scorer with 61 runs from 33 balls. All batsmen scored started well but failed to convert them into big scores. Darren Sammy scored 27 runs, Jason Holder was the last man to go by scoring 42 runs from 26 balls. Trent Boult scalped 4 wickets and crushed the top order, Tim Southee and Daniel Vettori took 2 wickets each. Earlier New Zealand scored 393/6 in 50 overs, Martin Guptill(237*) scored 2nd double century of the tournament. Martin Guptill was awarded with man of the match. Earlier New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first.
