Cricket world cup 2015, Australia wins against Pakistan by 6 wickets, enters semifinals of this mega event. Australia scored 216/4 in 33.5 overs with Shane Watson and Maxwell at Crease. Chasing 214 runs Australian David Warner(24 from 23 balls) started well but lost Aaron Finch(4 from 5 balls) at the other end and Australia was 15/1 from 2.3 overs. After adding another 40 odds runs to the board Australia lost two wickets of David Warner and Michael Clarke(8 from 11 balls) and Australia seemed to be in trouble with 59/3 in 11 overs. Steven Smith(65 from 69 balls) and Shane Watson added 88 runs to the board and Smith lost his wicket to Ehsan Adil in 27th overs. Shane Watson(64 from 66 balls) and Glenn Maxwell(44 from 29 balls) finished of the things very quickly by scoring boundaries. Wahab Riaz scalped 2 wickets, Ehsan Adil and Sohail Khan took 1 wicket each. Earlier, Pakistan scored 213 runs in 49.5 overs. Haris Sohail was the top scorer with 41 runs, Misbah ul Haq(34 from 59 balls),Umar Akmal(20 from 24 balls) failed to convert it into big scores. Hazlewood was the top wicket taker with 4 wickets. Josh Hazlewood was awarded with man of the match. Australia will play India in semi-finals on March 26.
