Pakistan won by 129 runs over UAE
Cricket world cup 2015, chasing a big target of 340 runs UAE settled for 210/8 in 50 overs leaving Pakistan a big win of 129 runs. Shaiman Anwar (65 from 88 balls), Khurram Khan(43 from 55 balls) were the top scorers in UAE innings. Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz and Shahid Afridi took 2 wickets each in Pakistan bowling besides Sohaib Maqsood and Rahat Ali who scalped 1 wicket each. Earlier, In Pakistan batting Shehzad Ahmed(93 from 105 balls) and Harish Sohail (70 from 93 balls) guided Pakistan through a huge score. Misbah ul Haq(65 from 49 balls), Shahid Afridi (21 from 7 balls) scored quickly at the end. Manjula Guruge took 4 wickets in UAE bowling. Ahmed Shehzad named as man of the match. Earlier, United Arab States won the toss and elected to field first.
