Muttiah Muralitharan was named as Sunrisers Hyderabad new bowling coach: IPL 2015

IPL 8 is coming closer, Sunrisers added strenght to their team ahead of IPL 2015. Sri Lanka’s spinning great Muttiah Muralitharan was named as bowling coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of IPL 2015. Former Sri Lankan has played 66 games in Indian premier league and took 63 wickets at an average of 26.92. In 7 seasons he played for Chennai Super Kings (Chennai Super Kings), Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Royal Challengers Bangalore. From 2008 to 2010 he played for Chennai super kings and scalped 52 wickets which helped Chennai Super Kings to win Indian premier league and Champions league in 2010. He decided to end his career after disappointing season in 2014 with Royal Bangalore Challengers in which he played only 6 matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad believes that Muralitharan services will help their spin bowling ahead of IPL 8. Muralitharan retired from international cricket in 2011. Earlier, he joined Australian team as spin bowling consultant which helped Australian bowler Nathan Lyon to pick wickets against India. Karn Sharma and Parveen Rasool may use Muralitharan to pick wickets in upcoming season. Tom Moodey is the head coach of Sunrisers.

IPL 8 is coming closer, Mumbai Indians will add Shane Bond ahead of IPL 2015 Former New Zealand speedster Shane Bond will step down as bowling coach of New Zealand team post 2015 world cup and will join Mumbai Indians camp ahead of IPL 2015 which starts from April 8th. Mumbai Indians has appointed Shane Bond as new bowling coach to give team boost. He will join with other supporting staff which includes Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, Robin Singh and fielding coach Jhonty Rhodes. Bond cited family reasons for quitting New Zealand’s bowling coach role. “It is very hard for my family to live without me as I am travelling with the team for 250-270 days a year and not having enough time to spend the time with my family thing once it is very hard for the family to live without me with 2 kids” Bond said. Bond has earlier played in Indian Premier League in 2010 for Kolkata Knight Riders. IPL 8 will kick start from April 8th and Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their opening match. Auction for players will be held on Feb 16.

IPL 8 is coming closer, For IPL 2015,Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting is appointed as a head coach of Mumbai Indians team to boost their team. Ponting will replace Former Indian Coach John Wright and John Wright is shifted to his new role for talent scouting and youth development organization which is running by the franchise. Ponting has played in Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians in 2013, in which Mumbai Indians lifted there maiden Indian Premier League title. He was brought at his base price of $400,000. He captained the team for 6 matches and scored just 52 runs but dropped in the middle due to his poor form and Rohit Sharma was appointed as captain of Mumbai indians from that season. Ricky Ponting retired from international cricket in 2012. His experienced will really matter for Mumbai Indians ahead of Mega Tournament. We should wait to see whether Ponting get succeeded in his coaching job for Mumbai Indians. IPL 8 will kick start from April 8. IPL 2015 auction will be head on February 16 in Bangalore Richard madley will auction the players, another trading window will be there after the end of the auction for 2 weeks.

IPL 8 auction is coming closer,The IPL 2015 player auction will be held on February 16 at Bangalore, BCCI has announced this on January 30 and they didn’t given any information about the list of players and total number of players for the auction and the last date for franchises to submit their final list of retained players was February 4. Total 123 players in which 79 Indians and 44 foreign players were retained by the franchises for IPL 2015, while six Indian players were traded among some teams during the trading window from October 12 to December 15. “The Auction 2015 will mark as beginning of the countdown to the lucrative IPL 8, which is one of the most popular events in the world,” said Ranjib Biswal. “The Auction will be conducted as previous editions. Franchises have been working on their plans and new strategies to build their team for IPL 8. They will have the opportunity to buy some big names in the cricket like Yuvraj Singh who was released but Royal challengers bangalore, Dinesh Karthik, Hashim Amla and Kevin Pietersen are among the players who set their base price as Rs 2 crores, while Indian all rounder Irfan Pathan, Australia’s veteran Michael Hussey, Angelo Mathews and Marlon Samuels have set their base price as Rs 1.5 crore. Additional 3 crores will be added to the auction purse compared to 2014 season plus remaining amout after player fees deduced will be given to franchises. A total of 724 players may go under the hammer. England Professional Auctioneer will auction the players and it will be telecasted live on Sony Six and Sony Six HD from 9:30am. IPL 2015 will starts from April 8th and total of 65 matches will be played among 8 teams in different cities in India.

RCB released Yuvraj Singh into the IPL 2015 player auction

IPL 2015 is getting closer,Royal Bangalore Challengers have decided to go fresh to IPL 8, released some key players before start of season including 2014 season’s most expensive player Yuvraj Singh (who bought for 14 crores in 2014 auction). Although he was the second highest run scorer for RCB in 2014 they released so that they can get some extra money for IPL 2015 auction. Royal Bangalore Challengers(RCB)management also hinted that they may bring back Yuvraj at lower price in IPL 2015 auction. They are known for their devastating batting in the likes of Kohli, Gayle and De Villiers. They bought 5 five players from tranfer window which closed on December 15th in which Bisla, Mandeep Singh, Iqbal Abdullah added to their squad. RCB are yet to lift the title.

Aaron Finch was the highest run scorer for sunrisers Hyderabad, another surprise decision by SRH is the omission of Amit Mishra who was the first player to pick 100 wickets Indian premier league. Delhi Daredevils management has decided to go fresh into player auction and released 13 players. Hemant Dua, the Daredevils chief executive, said that they may look back at players released in IPL 8 auction. Murali Vijay and Ross Taylor were the other prominent players released by Delhi. Some players like Dinesh Karthik sould out for 10.5 crore to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Angelo Mathews for 7.5 crore to Delhi Daredevils (DD). Kevin Pieterson sold out for base price of 2 crore to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Kumara Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene remained unsold at IPL 2015 auction. Cricket world cup 2015, India out of world cup final and Australia will play New Zealand on March 29 at MCG. Chasing 329 big total Indian batsmen could not capitalize on the good start provided by Shikhar Dhawan(45 from 40) and Rohit Sharma(34 from 48) who scored 76 runs for the first wicket. After Shikhar Dhawan departure India lost wickets at regular intervals and struggling with 108/4 in 23 overs. MS Dhoni(65 from 65) and Ajinkya Rahane(44 from 58 balls) added 70 runs for 5 wicket but required rate gone up and India needed 11 runs per over. At 178/4 Rahane caught to Haddin in Starc bowling, post that pressure build on Indian batsmen and India all out for 233 in 46.5 overs. James Faulkner took 3 wickets while Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc took 2 wickets each besides 1 wicket from Josh Hazlewood, 2 Runs also registered at the end for Australia. Earlier, Aaron Finch(81 from 105) and Steven Smith(105 from 93 balls) laid foundation for Australia to go par 300 runs. Johnson scored quick 27 from 9 balls at the end. Umesh Yadav scalped 4 wickets in Indian bowling. Steve Smith was awarded with man of the match.
