Super over may decide cricket world cup 2015 title winner

According to ICC, super over will decide the result of the cricket world cup 2015 match if it ends in tie, it will be applied to finals also if the final ends in tie. It is easiest and best way to decide match if it ends in tie, which was introduced in 2007 T20 world cup. "The ICC Board reinstated the Super Over in the case of a tie in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 final. This now replaces the deciding factor for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 final and other recently concluded ICC events where a winner will be determined on the day of the final (weather permitting), it was the most credible way to decide the winners between two steams," the official ICC media release said.

Gavaskar backs Dhoni comment

India’s former veteran opener Sunil Gavaskar on Thursday backs Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his "unrest" comment that got the media talking about within which the Indian cricket team in Australia, saying that the Indian captain might have chosen a wrong word to describe the situation in the ongoing test series.
