India won against Pakistan by 76 runs
India won by 76 runs against Pakistan in which Pakistan bowled out for 224 runs in 46.6 overs. While chasing a target of 300 runs Pakistan lost their first very early in the form of Younis Khan(6 runs) in the fourth over but Shehzad and and Haris Sohail faced Indian bowlers comfortably and added 68 runs between them but Sohail got out after scoring 36 runs in 18th over. Ahmed Shehzad lost his wicket at 47 runs and missed his half century in 24th over. Afridi got off to a good start with Misbah Ul Haq but lost his wicket after scoring a quick 22 runs to Shami after that Pakistan lost two quick wickets in the form of Umar Akmal and Maqsood. While losing wickets at the other end Misbah ul Haq(76 runs) scored half century and remained at the crease till end but lost his wicket to Mohammad Shami when trying to hit the ball out of boundary line. In the Indian bowling Umesh Yadav picked 5 wickets ,Shami picked 4 wickets which ensured comfortable win for India Earlier, Indian captain MS Dhoni won the match and elected to bat first, opening batsmen Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma got off to a good start before Rohit Sharma throwing his wicket for 15 runs in the 8th over. But No.3 Batsman Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan took India score board steadily and added 129 runs for the 2 wicket, which is the highest Partnership for 2nd wicket in India vs Pakistan world cup match. In the 30th over of the innings Shikhar Dhawan (73 runs from 76 balls) thrown his wicket by good run out by Misbah ul Haq. Suresh Raina Joined with Virat Kohli and both of added another 110 runs for the 3rd wicket, In which Virat Kohli(100 from 119 balls) scored his century in Cricket World Cup 2015 and Suresh Raina scored a quick 50 runs. At 107 runs, Virat Kohli fell to Sohail Khan in 45th over when India was 273/3. Suresh Raina(74 from 56 balls scored at brisk but fell to Sohail khan in 48 overs. After that India lost wickets in quick successions and scored 300/7 at the end of 50 overs where Ashwin and Shami at the Crease. In Pakistan Bowling medium pacer Sohail Khan took his 5 wicket haul of 5/55. Century scorer Virat Kohli was name as man of the match. This is the 6 straight win for India against Pakistan in world cup tournament in the total of 6 matches they played against each other.
