I will play under Smith captaincy: Michael Clarke

Australia captain Michael Clarke who is yet to prove his fitness ahead of the Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool A. Clarke has been doing hard work for his fitness. Smith's success in the recently concluded test series as a captain and player, Clarke's struggles with back and hamstring injuries have given rise to a debate in Australia about team captaincy. Clarke has broken his silence regarding this and said that he has no issue of playing under Smith, if asked by the selectors. Clarke told to media on Monday. Clarke said that he could relate situation to a similar situation with Ricky Ponting in 2011. "I feel for Ponting, because when a lot of the media were trying to call for Ricky Ponting to retire. It's certainly not personal between Ponting and I, we are friends for a long time and will continue that friendship. "Whatever the selectors feel the best 11 players, they will pick. In the same way who is the best captain for the team, they'll pick that player. Recently, Clarke scored 51 runs for Western Suburbs in Sydney Grade Cricket on Saturday and showed that he is fit enough to play cricket world cup 2015.
