South Africa included uncapped off spinner Simon Harmer to the squad for 3rd test

South Africa added uncapped Simon Harmer, the orthodox off-spinner to the Proteas test squad for the third test against the West Indies which starts from January 2nd in Cape Town. Harmer plays for the Warriors in South Africa's domestic competition and taken 221 wickets at an average of 31.85. Harmer is also a useful lower ordered batsman and smashed 1,841 runs at an average of 27.41. He will be the second spinner in the squad with Imran Tahir in the side. South Africa wants to experiment with player before cricket world cup 2015. "We like to have the option of a second spinner in the side," said selector, Andrew Hudson.

South Africa squad for the 3rd Test: Hashim Amla(captain), AB de Villiers (vice captain), Alviro Peterson, Rilee Rossouw, Simon Harmer, Dean Elgar, Faf du Plessis, Stian van Zyl, Temba Bavuma, Vernonda Philander, Imran Tahir, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, Kyle Abbott and Rabada.
