Gayle’s super fifty powers West Indies to Victory over South Africa in T20

Although there is big blow for West Indies as their core players Bravo and Pollard are not playing cricket world cup 2015 according to some media but there is one who can steal the one man show in the form of Gayle. Chris Gayle smashed the fastest fifty of 77 runs from 31 balls and West Indies registered victory over South Africa by 4 wickets in the first T20 international at Newlands on Friday. The big hitting left-hander smashed eight sixes and five fours as a big giant on the South African bowlers. He scored 52 runs from 11 balls after scoring 1 run from first 6 balls, He reached his half century in 17 balls which is the second best after Yuvraj Singh record of 50 from 12 balls, after making only one run off the first six balls he faced, he reached his half-century off 17 balls.
