Cricket World Cup 2015 South Africa team preview and fixtures

The Cricket World Cup 2015 is another chance for South Africa to remove their "chokers" tag. They reached the semi-finals in 1992, 1999 and 2007 and the quarter-finals in 1996 and 2011 but failed to reach finals in world cup. On paper, South Africa is a very strong team
Group: Pool B
Captain: AB de Villiers
Coach Russell Domingo
AB de Villiers (captain), Hashim AmlaFarhaan, Behardien, , Rilee Rossouw, Quinton de Kock (wicket keeper), JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Aaron Phangiso, Vernon PhilanderDale Steyn, Kyle Abbott,

South Africa looks good in all areas, the presence of AB de Villiers, Amla, Duminy, Faf du Plessis and David Miller makes them a strong batting line-up in the world cup. De Villiers and Amla, were the fastest batmen to reach 5,000 ODI runs. In the bowling attack Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir keep South Africa's chances high. Steyn and Tahir critical wicket-takers while Morkel will be also handy bowler.
Their bad luck, yes they sometimes loss the matches which are supposed to win. They have to improve their batting against spin bowling, especially on slow pitches. But it is not an issue as pitches in Australia and New Zealand are bouncy. But first and third quarter-final matches are to be played in Adelaide and SCG which supports spinners.
Team past World Cup experience and record
