Seniors left out from probables list for ICC cricket world cup 2015

Indian selectors have selected probables for upconing cricket world cup 2015 and left senior and experienced players. Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan were not included in the 30-member Indian probables squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Yuvraj played a big role in India's World Cup success in 2011 and was the Man of the Series. Zaheer too came up with vital contributions with the ball while Sehwag and Gambhir also did well in a couple of games and gambhir came up with an important knock in the final against Sri Lanka. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and Ravichandran Ashwin were the only members from the squad that lifted the World Cup in 2011. Selectors gave priority to youngsters who performed well in the domestic cricket. Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Murali Vijay and Manoj Tiwary were present in the list of batters while Robin Uthappa, Wriddhiman Saha and Sanju Samson were selected as backup wicket-keepers. Stuart Binny, Axar Patel and Parvez Rasool were all-rounders named in the squad while Kuldeep Yadav, Karn Sharma and Amit Mishra were the spinners in the team along with the regular names. Mohit Sharma, Ashok Dinda and Dhawal Kulkarni were included in the pacers list in the probables list. The last date for announcing the final 15-man squad to the ICC is January 7, 2015.

Wicket keepers: MS Dhoni(C), Wriddhiman Saha, Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson
Allrounders: Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Stuart Binny and Parvez Rasool
Spinners: Ravichandran Ashwin, Karn Sharma, Amit Mishra and Kuldeep Yadav.
Pacers: Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Dhawal Kulkarni, Mohit Sharma and Ashok Dinda.
