Playing against Pakistan in world cup is superstition for India says Sehwag

Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar came down for a promotional event, 'Agenda Aaj Tak 2014', and discussed about the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand together. The conversation rounded across favourites for the World Cup before going on a discussion about India-Pakistan World Cup matches.Picking his favourite, Gambhir said, "It is impossible to predict the winner of World Cup but we can predict the top four. In cricket it depends fully on that day. My heart says India will win but I think Australia is the favourite since it is happening in their home. "Sehwag and Wasim Akram said South Africa as the top favourites, despite their form as they believed the conditions Down Under would suit them.Meanwhile, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar believed that both India and Pakistan had the ingredients to win the title. When asked Pakistan's poor record against India in the World Cup Akhtar said the players always took unnecessary pressure when playing India in a World Cup. Virender Sehwag said that Indian players were superstitious while playing Pakistan and used to say that we will lose.
