Injury may keep away Bhuvaneshwar Kumar from first two test matches

Medium pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of first two Tests against Australia due to a left ankle injury. Kumar has not practiced in training session in Adelaide on Sunday. Team management released a media release stating that B Kumar is recovering from his left ankle pain and he could be available for first Test selection". The BCCI also considered the option of withdrawing Bhuvneshwar from the squad for the Test series and decided that it would be better for his recovery if he was monitored by the team's physiotherapists in Australia. A BCCI insider revealed that the team management has been instructed not to rush him back into action since he will be expected to play important role in the upcoming cricket world cup 2015. Bhuvneshwar performed well in England series with 19 wickets as India's highest wicket-taker. Recently, he was announced as emerging player of year by ICC and player of the year in BCCI awards
