Duminy may miss test series against West Indies

South African middle order batsman JP Duminy is unlikely to recover to take part in the upcoming home Test series against West Indies says South African coach Russell Domingo. He was suffering from a relapse of a long-running knee injury (patella tendinopathy) before One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia, has encountered setbacks in his rehabilitation in the recent weeks. In the place of Duminy if he is not ready to take part in test matches then cobras batsman Stiaan van Zyl is expected to bat lower down the order which allows Alviro Peterson another three Tests to improve his form. Domingo said the South African team management would discuss before rushing Duminy back to the team especially ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
