Smith seals series win for Australia

Steve Smith of Australia seals Australia a series win against South Africa in the 4th ODI here at MCG in Canberra on Friday. South African captain AB De Villiers won the toss and elected to bat first, after the early fall of 3 wickets AB De Villiers scored 98 and David Miller scored 45 steadily batted for some time who made a 100 run partnership between them, after the dismissal of that partnership no other batsman batted well but made South Africa to a defend-able score 267/8 in 50overs. Australia opened batting very poorly and at one stage they were 98/5 but Smith and Wade build up the partnership slow and made a 121 run partnership between them which took Australia close to the total, Smith made 104 of 102 balls and Wade made 52 of 59 and at last Faulkner made 34 from 19 balls which seals victory in the match as well series for Australia. Smith was awarded player of the match. The last ODI will be played on November 23.
