Ryder opts himself out of New Zealand ‘A’ tour of UAE

New Zealand opening batsmen Jesse Ryder was opted himself out of the tour of United Arab Emirates citing personal reasons. New Zealand selected believed this as test for players to ensure there form for the ICC cricket world cup 2015 which will be hosted by Australia and New Zealand jointly. Ryder informed him about his unavailability after meeting with Otago officials in Dunedin on Monday morning. "NZC respects Jesse's decision and is currently considering options for a replacement," said Edgar. Ryder had missed Otago Volts' T20 match against Canterbury Kings in Christchurch on Sunday due to 'relationship issues'. "Jesse withdrew from today's game due to personal reasons and we're respecting that. If there are some concerns or issues, we'll work through those with him,” said Otago Cricket CEO Ross Dykes.
