Rohit Sharma creates history and rewrites past records with his name. In the match against sri lanka here at Eden gardens Rohit Sharma scored 264 runs in 173 balls with 33 fours and 9 sixes with a strike rate of 152.60 and surpasses sehwag’s highest score of 219.He also created another record and became first man to hit two double hundreds,his first double hundred(209) came against Australia in 2013. Rohit Sharma who was not picked for the first three ODI’s against sri lanka showed his class batting with aggression in this match .He was out of Indian team after his finger injury in india’s tour of England and missed ClT20 too but came back strong with a century at practice match against srilanka but overlooked because of fitness but later for last two matches against srilanka . Rohit was dropped on 4 but later capitalized to make his name in to world cricket records.”I was not tired at all coming after a two months break, I was determined. Once I crossed 50, I had to get century,” Rohit said after his innings in a chat.
