Johnson backs Bailey as Australia captain for Cricket World Cup 2015

Mitchell Johnson backed Bailey as a captain for Cricket world cup 2015 in case of unavailability as Clarke. Michael Clarke was injured again with hamstring here in the first ODI against Australia. Bailey captained Australia for 20 ODI’S IN which Australia won 9 matches. “Those thoughts haven’t come into our heads at the moment. We’re obviously just focused on just this series at the moment so I don’t want to think too far ahead. We’ll just have to wait and see”, He said. Johnson was named as a ICC cricketer of the year for the second time yesterday and Johnson expressed his happiness about that. “We back him [Bailey] 100 per cent,” Johnson said. “It’s unfortunate to have this injury but George has been captain for the Australian team for a few of the formats and has done very well in the one day stuff”, He added.
