AB lauds praised Steve Smith for his batting against them

South African captain AB praised Steve Smith for his batting in which South Africa lost the game. Steve Smith of Australia who was not picked for the first 2 ODI’s against South Africa has been picked for the 3rd ODI in which Steve Smith showed class and aggressive batting which made Australia to take lead in the series. Smith, who came in to the final eleven due to the injury of Clarke who was suffering from hamstring played really well and ensured Australia win. He was a “captain’s nightmare” assisted by South African captain AB De Villiers. "Smithy played one of the great innings I thought the way he came in from ball one and struck into the gaps and ran hard and never allowed the bowlers to settle," Finch said after match. Smith made 77 of 55 balls and supported Finch from the other end who scored a century.
