India vs Australia - T20 World Cup 2012 Super 8 Match

The heat is on and would get even hotter with India taking on Australia in the fourth super 8 match of the ICC World Twenty20 today at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Both the teams are among the hot favorites of the tournament and will sure shortly be a good fight to watch between the men in blue and the Kangaroos. It will be a lot of excitement, anxiety and what not; the T20 World Cup 2012 is becoming a stage of all mixed feelings with even some heart pounding matches like the one we saw yesterday between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Being India vs Australia we can expect a bit more of everything in it including some verbal fight between the players on field.

India will be in a dilemma about the team selection for the match because Dhoni have opted to go with five bowlers against the mighty Australians and in that case should drop either Virender Sehwag or Yuvraj Singh. It is tough decision for the Indian captain because in the last match where India played England both the spinners Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla performed well and the main question is will Dhoni go with three fast bowlers or three pacers. On the other hand Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir who were not amongst runs in the recent times, got back into form in the league match against England putting up some good performances and putting off some weight from Virat Kohli’s shoulders who has the sole performer for India with the bat previously. Coming to the Australian side, they performed well in both the league matches and are in a good run on the whole as a team and Shane Watson showing some good all round performance in the previous match will be a even more advantageous to the Australians. All in all Dhoni has to make a good decision either to play Virender Sehwag or Yuvraj Singh to play in this important super 8 match against Australia. What a big match isn’t it? Are you all ready for this high voltage drama???
