Pitch Will Help Seamers Under Lights in India vs Pakistan Semi Final at Mohali

The Punjab Cricket Association at Mohali is all ready to host the most anticipated semi final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 between India and Pakistan. Daljeet Singh, the curator of Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) said that the Mohali wicket will help the seam bowlers by providing them good general pace and bounce under the lights which is the basic nature of the wicket. India was beaten by Pakistan two times at this venue so India got to be a little careful with the seamers of Pakistan. Singh said that due may play a role in the match, in order to avoid due they will stop watering the ground three days ahead of the match and will be using vetting agent APSA-80 which does not completely avoid due but certainly minimizes it. He also stated that he is using light rollers for the wickets instead of heavy ones to avoid over preparing of he wicket and bind to the general ICC guidelines that the pitch should be batman friendly. He admitted that he is too excited for the match and wants to see how the wicket behaves, but is not nervous and hopes a good game of cricket at Mohali on 30th March, 2011.
