Kevin O'Brien Hits Fastest World Cup Century

Ireland’s 26 years old cricketer Kevin O’Brien, smashed the fastest century in 50 balls in World Cup history against England at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. The right-handed middle-order batsman hit thirteen 4’s and six 6’s in his impressive innings.

O'Brien's record is the sixth fastest century in all ODIs history. Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi listed the record of fastest ODI century in just 37 balls. Afridi also hit another hundred in 45 balls. Mark Boucher (44 balls), Brian Lara (45 balls) and Sanath Jayasuriya (48 balls) are the history listed in who hit fastest centuries in ODIs
