Virender Sehwag Selected As ICC New Brand Ambassador

Dashing and dynamic Indian opener, Virender Sehwag, Vice captain of indian cricket team was chosen as ICC brand ambassador for 2010-2011. Sehwag became ICC brand ambassador for the first time since the programme started in 2008. Including Sehwag, ICC in total has chosen five brand ambassadors for 2010-2011. The other four Australian umpire Simon Taufel, Sri Lanka captain - Kumar Sangakkara, Paul Collingwood - England T20 Captain and Australian Vice Captain - Michael Clarke.

Simon Taufel and Sangakkara have been choosen as ICC brand ambassador for the third time where as Sehwag,Clarke and Collingwood are selected for the first time leaving aside the last year's brand ambassadors Rahul Dravid (India), JP Duminy (South Africa), Lisa Sthalekar (Australia) and Charlotte Edwards (England). These Brand ambassadors will participate in coaching clinic, press conferences and social events organized by ICC & provide general awarness of ICC.
