Tendulkar Rises To No.3 In ICC Rankings

In the ICC Test rankings released on Wednesday Sachin Tendulkar came to the third position moving up one place from fourth position, Kumar Sangakkara is on the top with Virender Sehwag in the second position. This is Sachin’s highest ranking in tests since 2002. On the other hand, VVS Laxman moved up fourth positions to eight-Laxman’s career best rank. Rahul Dravid has moved one place up to 22nd whereas Gautam Gambhoir and MS Dhoni have moved down to 16th and 37 positions.

Shane Watson has also moved upto his career best rank 30 in ICC Test ranking batsmen but his fellow Australian batsmen Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke, Simon Katich, and Marcus North has slipped down in the rankings to 19th, 28th, 8th, 12th, 52nd positions respectively.

In the bowling department Zaheer Khan achieved fifth rank-his career best rank, Doug Bollinger moved to 8th while Hlifenhaus to 20th and Mitchell Johnson o fourth position. Dale Steyn is on top of the table follwed by Graeme Swann in the second spot.

Jacques Kallis is headind the ICC Test all-rounder table followed by Daniel Vettori, Shane Watson has moved up two spotsand occupies the sixth position in the latest rankings.

Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary is one of the biggest fan of the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who attends each and every match that India plays at home.
